A complete shredder installation for aluminium amongst others with a pre-shredder installation and magnet roller and a separation drum.
The shredder installation consists of different machines for the separation of aluminium, iron and plastic.
The pre-shredder is a shredder which is making the material in pieces of 200 x 200 mm. After that the material is transported to the head shredder by a steel conveyor belt.
In the main shredder there is the separation of aluminium, iron and plastics. After that the pieces of 100 x 100 mm are transported to a separation drum. There is a separation of big and fine/dust material. At the end all the pieces passes a magnetic roller. Here is the separation of iron and aluminium.
The line consists of the following components:
1. Pre Shredder Installation - opening 2.000mm x 3.000mm
Pre shedder for shredding the material in pieces of 200 x 200 mm. This is important for making a better capacity of 25%. Motor power: electric/hydraulic with a 110 kW electromotor. The capacity of the pre shedder is 6 mt/hour. This pre-shredder must be placed on a concrete foundation.
2. Steel conveyor belt - ALREADY SOLD
The pre shedder is connected with the head shredder by a steel conveyor belt. The steel conveyor belt has a length of 10.000 mm and a width of 1.000 mm. The electric power capacity is 15 kW.
3. Main shredder - opening 2.000mm x 2.300mm
Rotor diameter 1.200 mm. The shredder consists of 28 hammer rings and a 450 kW electric motor. The rotor is hydraulic powered, 720 Rpm. The maximum capacity is 6 mt/hour.
The main shredder must be placed on a concrete foundation in a low noise cabin.
4. Conveyor belt.
For transporting the aluminium shredder from the main shredder to the separation drum.

Width : 800 mm
Motor : 5,5 kW.
5. Separation drum.
The separation drum separates the aluminium dust and the finest pieces of the aluminium from the bigger parts (100 x 100 mm). The diameter of the drum is 1.200 mm and the length of the drum is 6.000 mm. Power capacity of the motor (variable) is 7,5 kW.
6. Conveyor belt 2x.

7. Vibrating feeder.
Length : 4.000 mm
Motor : 2 motors with a power capacity of 5,5 kW
8. Magnetic roller.
For the removal of the last pieces of iron. Type of the magnetic roller is “Steinert”.
Power capacity of the magnetic roller is 4,0 kW/50 Hz.
9. Return conveyor belts 2x.
The conveyor belts transports the separated pieces of aluminium and iron back from the magnetic roller to the main shredder.
The belts are:

Width : 800 mm
Motor : 7,5 kW/50Hz
10. Metal detector.
The metal detector is standing behind the magnetic roller for the last control of small iron pieces.
11. Electric installation.
The installation will be connected on a 15 Kv transformer. The transformer will be connected in a central control room.
